Try to keep open lines of communication, and be patient if people don't reply right away -- we're adults with a limited number of spoons these days, so things can take time.

Trigger-warn and cut/ftb things appropriately. I want people to feel safe to explore and write darker themes, but I also want everyone to feel safe not to read things if they don't want to. If in doubt, warn for it and put it behind a cut; if people ask you to adjust your warnings, please don't be offended!

I saw this written somewhere else and thought it was too good not to echo: players are not their characters, but players are 100% responsible for their characters. Don't dogpile or use IC interactions to lash out for OOC reasons.

"Mod" duties to you:

• Keeping things tidy & adding you to the comms.
• Setting big plot beats.
• Answering queries about the world, although writers are invited to contribute to worldbuilding! Please feel free to make shit up as you go along.

This is a GPSL, which means we'll largely be operating on invites, but we might have a limited run of ads. Plot is largely self-directed beyond that of the major points already set up. Premade characters will have specific plot points offered to them.

After joining, you will have 72 hours from your acceptance comment being delivered have your character engage in the IC community. No initial activity = they will be swept. What counts for this initial activity? A network post, an open or completed scene, a narrative, texts/other piece of social media, or a meaningful number of comments on another post.

Activity = anything. Some of us are itching to write, others are maybe craving the old commentspam posts of old. Moodboards, narratives, an IC/OOC event. Whatever. Just be around and willing to sometimes play!

No whitewashing.

PBs must be 18+.

I'd prefer not to see gif icons.

A bare-bones application form can be found on the joining page, however feel free to do whatever you want with it as long as the basic elements contained within that application are included. Essentially, we're looking for basic stats about your character, an overview of their personality traits, and the highlights of their history.

After applying, request membership to the IC and OOC accounts.

Editing your application as the character develops is fine.

Removing your contact details after you're in is fine. Just please leave your application open for other members to read!

There is no need to friends-all everyone else, as everything will be posted in the communities.

Customs: feel free to use them, but they will not count whatsoever to activity if no one else can read them.

IC interactions should be posted in our main community. Feel free to post open scenes! If you're not comfortable writing or interacting outside of customs, this is not the place for you, sorry!
